You will cheer each other on as each group member makes it to the top. (Please note there is a maximum weight limit of 150kg and minimum of 50kg.) You will arrive at camp by approx. 3.30pm each day depending on conditions & the speed of the group. Day 2 - Enter the regal Gondwana Rainforest and journey through ancient beauty

Scenic Rim Trail Luxury Multi-Day Walk - Day 2
To Amphitheatre Eco Camp

Sunrise at Mt Mistake is a highlight of the trip. If it is forecast to be a clear morning, heading out to the escarpment with a warm drink in hand is highly recommended. Breakfast is served at 7am, with tea and coffee available earlier. Lunches are provided, and water bottles can be refilled before departing at 8am. The trail follows a former logging route once traversed by bullock and cart, starting with a climb before entering Gondwana Rainforest. Wide sections allow walking side by side with moderate inclines, and exposed areas require plenty of water in warmer months. The final section leads deep into the rainforest on a Grade 5 track into camp.
Take a moment to enjoy the views over the natural amphitheatre. Spend the afternoon in a treehouse-style cabin. Two wash pavilions are available, and after a well-earned shower, the lounge is open to relax. Sunset from the viewing deck is highly recommended, with dinner served at approximately 6pm.

To Timber Getters Eco Camp

Each cabin includes a yoga mat, so it is possible to stretch on the balcony or the viewing deck before heading to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, packing, and gathering gear, the day’s walk begins at 8am. The trail starts with a relatively flat warm-up along the access road, accompanied by the sounds of rainforest birds. Muddy patches may require careful navigation around puddles. As the trail descends into the valley, the rainforest becomes denser. Half of the day follows Grade 5 unmarked trails, including rocky boulder sections that require slow, careful footing over tree roots and rocks.
Arrival at camp is at a former logging site, where the old tin shack used by timber getters can be viewed. The afternoon is at leisure to explore and enjoy the environment. Gather in the lounge for the daily briefing before dinner.

Day 4 - Take in every moment of your last day on the trail before you reach your final desination

Scenic Rim Trail Luxury Multi-Day Walk - Day 4
To Hidden Peaks Cabins

The birdlife is beautiful here, particularly at dawn for early risers. Following breakfast, packing, and gathering gear for the day, the walk begins at 8am. The day starts with a heartwarming climb up the fire trail, passing an old pine plantation. Once at the top, the trail heads deep into the rainforest on a Grade 5 track. Huge rainforest trees with six-foot buttresses line the path, and the pace is slower to take care with footing over roots and rocky sections.
The trail emerges from the rainforest to climb Bare Rock, offering 360-degree views on a clear day. From here, public trails are joined, occasionally passing fellow walkers. In the final section, the sounds of the modern world become audible as trucks carry goods from the coast to the west. Vehicles are waiting at the end of the trail to transfer participants to Hidden Peaks Cabins. The 15-minute drive brings walkers to camp, where each log cabin has its own en-suite. After settling in, gather around the fire pit to share stories and favourite memories from the trip, followed by the final dinner.
