You will be welcomed on board Eclipse mid afternoon in the Exmouth Marina. Upon embarkation enjoy welcome drinks, meeting the Eclipse crew, a vessel familiarisation and safety inductions. Relax over sunset drinks and nibbles cruising across the Gulf of Exmouth to the first evening’s remote anchorage.

Begin the day exploring the eastern side of the gulf with an early morning fish. Return to a cooked breakfast before a mud-crabbing adventure on the tide. As you enjoy lunch onboard, Eclipse sets sail for Long Island. Trolling for surface species such as mackerel, wahoo, tuna and marlin along the way. Anchor at Long Island in the early evening.

Spend a gentle morning on the water—stand-up paddle boarding and beachcombing. Enjoy snorkelling the shallow coral reef straight off the beach or spin casting from the tender. Following lunch onboard, we cruise north toward Thevenard Island with opportunities for surface trolling en route. Arrive and anchor in the early evening.

Make the most of the island’s facilities and scenic environment with optional activities such as guided snorkelling, a kayak tour, a beach hike or a sunset stand-up paddle. Depart early afternoon for Varanus Island, enjoying sunset drinks and dinner underway. Anchor at Varanus late evening.

A spectacular day for fishing, snorkelling and diving. Start with an early morning fish before a cooked breakfast onboard. Enjoy a mid-morning snorkel from the swim platform before heading to the north-western shelf for drift snorkelling across vibrant coral systems. Spend a relaxed evening anchor at Various ahead of tomorrow’s early morning departure for the Montebello Islands.

Depart Varanus before sunrise for your journey to the magical Montebello Island archipelago. Arrive mid-morning and anchor in the southern chain. Explore the winding waterways of Willy Nilly Lagoon on the tide, then enjoy a low-tide snorkel inside the coral reef. In the afternoon, take a scenic walk on Alpha Island before settling in for beach drinks amid hundreds of turtles in the shallows to watch the sky come alive at sunset.

Continue exploring the islands and surrounding reefs. Dive or snorkel vibrant coral gardens, laze in the calm shallows or drift through one of the clear-water channels. After a late lunch onboard, Eclipse departs for Dampier. Arrive at Eaglehawk in the evening for your final night’s anchorage.

A short morning cruise brings Eclipse into Hampton Harbour. Breakfast and farewells onboard before disembarking around 0800 from Eclipse for your private transfer to Karratha.
