Discover the wonders of the night sky on a journey in the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains. Led by an expert astrophysicist at a scenic Wentworth Falls lookout, this tour offers a professional exploration of the Southern Sky. You will learn to identify constellations with the naked eye and use a telescope to observe the Moon, Saturn’s rings, and deep-space nebulae, all while enjoying a cosy hot chocolate. Please note that this experience is weather-dependent. In the event of cloud cover or rain, the tour moves to the indoor venue in Leura. The afternoon is spent visiting a selection of lookouts. Once you lay your eyes on the view from Govetts Leap, you’ll know why it’s one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180 metres to the base of the cliff. If you’re not mesmerised by the dancing waves of water spray, you’ll be transfixed by the sweeping views down the valley to the Grose Wilderness. You then stop briefly to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine at the delightful Blue Mountains Botanic Garden.
